South Cowichan Music Jam

Event Description

Turnip the Beet Band hosts the South Cowichan Music Jam, a night of live amplified electric music of multiple genres performed by the house band (Turnip the Beet) and other Cowichan Valley professionals and semi-professional musicians.

The jam happens on the 3rd Friday of each month from 7 - 10pm at the Malahat Legion #134, 1625 Shawnigan Lake-Mill Bay Rd, Shawnigan Lake, BC .
All styles of music are welcome, however, it is primarily a country, rock, blues genre jam. It is an “intermediate” electric Jam, So ensure that your instrument has a pick-up.

The jam is sponsored by “the Cowichan South Arts Council” , "The Malahat Legion", "the South Cowichan Music Jam" and "Turnip the Beet band"

Admission: is free for adults over the age of 19
